I actually tried the auto-on / auto-off tip and it worked for me. I have it set to turn of at 5:30am and on a 6:00am.

I usually go to bed with no higher than 20mb (18.6 at the moment). As soon as I picker her up out of her little cradle when I get up for work...my baby is up to at least 28-32.

Unfortunately...this solution does not keep it high for long as it is down to 20 by 10am unless I do a battery pull (im soooo sick of battery pulls btw)

Device memory matters when it comes to speed, not app memory.

My Storm runs incredibly slow when and only when the memory dips below ~30MB or so, and runs beautifully when its over 45MB. I've noticed, but perhaps it is just a coincidence, that after I enabled the onboard memory manager, the memory is now stablilized between 41MB and 52MB. Before, It would dip down to 7.2 MB, and thats a no bueno..
Where is the onboard memory manager?
