MEDIA SYNC not working with ITUNES

I have not had this problem before. I used to be able to sync itunes with BB media sync. I upgraded to .148 and all **** broke loose.
Error: Blackberry media sync failed to connect to blackbery device click retry to try again or cancel to disconnect.
I have tried:
uninstalling and reinstalling DM
using media sync as stand alone without going thru DM
wiping handheld
calling verizon support
using windows xp and vista
downloading blackberry USB device driver

the only thing i didnt try is throwing the blackberry storm out the window.

I can do drag and drop but i just want to use media sync because all my songs are in itunes.

Please help.

I had the same problem. After being on the phone with Verizon Cutomer Service, Verizon Blackberry Support and Balckberry Technical Support (Level 2), They send me another phone. I read all tips and help from Crackberry, I thought I was doing something wrong. I guess it was a hardware problem. it might be your phone.
