Default "The media being played is of unsupported format"

I've been using my storm to listen to music for the past two days with no problems. All of the sudden, today its telling me that "the media being played is of unsupported format." I used the media sync to put the music on my memory card. what is the deal? any thoughts????

Geez, thanks for the help. I can't think of anything more unhelpful.

Like i said, i have been listening to my music for three days straight, and then all of the sudden, unsupported format. I just deleted everything off the media card, and resync'd using the Active Sync on the Desktop manager. Still tells me that the media i'm trying to play is of an unsupported format.

OK, maybe I was a little vague, and obviously my attempt at humor failed.

You put media on your BlackBerry with an expireable license, or
your memory settings have changed,
I would reload a couple of the songs in question without syncing and see
if the songs you reload are once again supported.

Well, the issue resolved itself. Nothing like a soft reset (i.e., battery pull).

Is there something I can download that performs a soft reset so that I don't have to pull the battery?

quickpull is the crackberry store which works well.. I have been using it for about a week all seems good make sure you disable compatibility mode after install and make sure you allow permissions.. or it wont work well or at all..

I got your humor and thought it was funny. FWIW. Some people on here are a bit too serious.

has nothing to do with me being "a bit too serious" but rather the face that I didnt even get it. So, chalk it up to two VERY different type of humor.

Default "The media being played is of unsupported format"

Hey Everybody,

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps me out! Much appreciated.

I am getting the same message as the person who started this post: "The media being played is of unsupported format"

I tried to do a soft reset (take out the battery and put it back in). Still nothing happened. I saved the media files on my SD card, then I deleted the album. And then saved it on the actual blackberry, still the same message. These audios are lectures, which run 50 minutes each? They worked fine in my Ipod though, so I'm assuming it would work fine in the blackberry.

I'm assuming nothing is wrong with the media files, because they all play in my itunes and they all are mp3 files. I also tried to upload some other files to see if they work, and the bold said most of that was downloaded, except some unsupported files. So if these files weren't supported, I'm assuming
I'm not good with computers at all, so if you do explain what the problem is, can you be a little detailed.
