I had to get a replacement Storm sent to me. I have been waiting for 3 weeks now and have not yet gotten it since they are on back order. I am currently using my old phone, Motorola Razr 2.
All I can say is that you don't know what you have till it is gone. With all of the complaints and frustrations with my Storm.......I can't wait to get one back!!!
I'm going back to my Curve 8330. I tried to love the Storm, even bought it an OtterBox and an Incipio, a car charger and screen protector. I upgraded it and kept its battery full, but the love is gone. The Curve got and upgrade and is getting a new case as I got it off eBay and it has a hole in it. (Caveat Emptor!) So that is my song and the Storm is on the market.
Yeah, I definitely ordered a warranty replacement Storm last Friday, and had a replacement here on Tuesday... Maybe they're from different distribution centers?
Won't they give you a loaner / replacement phone in the meantime?

Bell does give out loaner phones. Unfortunately they do not give out blackberry's as loaner phone, which doesn't make any sense to me.
If I own a blackberry, why would I want a regular phone as a loaner. I should be getting a blackberry as a loaner. Basically right now I am going to be paying one month of data charges for nothing, as I am using my old Motorola Razr 2.
Well I just ordered my first replacement and VZW said it will be here on wendsday. It sucks bell has a back order on the storm.
Looks like my finance is going to need a replacement again because radio turns off and no reception when mine gets perfect reception. But might just go in to the store for that one and check out the tour while I'm there.

I'm in the same boat. My replacement Storm won't be here until mid-August. I got Bell to sell me a used Pearl for $45 to hold me over until then. Total BS, because I know for a fact there's no real backorder. It's just RIM giving priority to Verizon over Bell and Telus.
