I have a blackberry storm 9530 I unlocked the phone and I am using it thru at&t I am unable to use the pohne or video mode.

Each time I try to connect to the camera a message comes on the screen informing me unable to connect to camera close open connections.

Any help would be nice.

What OS are you running? does it work after a battery pull?

I had that same issue two days ago, after a couple of battery pulls it started to work fine. I was running .328, now I'm on .419.

It's most likely hardware failure. Very common. The camera can "pop out" and stop functioning.

I just had the same problem. Tried everything - wiped the phone, installed .148 OS, no apps - still no camera. VZW replaced the phone on the spot with a nicer one ('super keys'). Color me happy.
