the red light does not blink on my storm anymore when i get a text message did it burn out or did i somehow turn it off. could someone tell me how to make blink again.

Try going to your sound settings and
1. select "set ring tones/alerts"
2. expand messages
3. click SMS text and next to LED make sure it says normal on

Also you may be in bedside mode. Open your clock and hit the BB key and select "exit bedside mode". If it says enter bedside do nothing.

do a battery pull, if your phone lights up red before starting to load you will know you have a good LED then.

after icheck to make sure it said led on on the bottom it says try it so i did and it work then so then i left myself a text message to see if it would work and still not blinking

Could be a theme issue. What OS and theme are you running?

theme it says precision zen (came with the phone) 4.7.0.148 the one verizion upgraded to

I assure you the bulb hasn't burnt out. If you could see the phone in 100 years after you die, it would still blink

Well you could try putting your phone into bedside mode and then go back and exit bedside mode. If that doesn't work I'm lost, sorry I couldn't have been to more help.

i think i got it i have it on phone only mode so that the phone rings why the red light does not blink i do not understand cause i put it in normal mode and it blinked thanks for all ur help
