When mostly in landscape but sometimes in portrait, while typing a text or email or messenger message sometimes the keyboard just disappears. Am I hitting a shortcut that I am not aware of??

I am running .75. I updated right out of the box so I don't know if it was happening prior to update.

Any help would be appreciated.

There's a screen shortcut to hide or show the keyboard, chances are you're accidentally hitting that. I do it all the time.

If you're in landscape mode and you slide your finger down or up, it will hide or show the keyboard.

Example: with the keyboard showing slide your finger down the Y, H, B, and spacebar. Don't actually push the screen, just slide your finger. Keyboard disappears. Sliding back up will show the keyboard (or scroll your e-mail, it's annoying)

I have yet to figure out how to disable this shortcut.

[edit] - also a good idea is to set your left side convenience key to Virtual Keyboard.
