So a couple things that maybe people who are smarter than I can assist with.

1) showing that I've got 3 messages but yet they are no where to be found and cannot delete the new message indicator.

2) today theme not showing dates. on this I've already checked to see that my default is set to what it was but still no go....

any ideas would be greatly appreciated

are you using youmail? and try doing a battery pull. as for the dates...are you talking about the ones from facebook or the ones that you put yourself?

weird. the ones i put myself would show up but then my facebook ones wouldn't show up. i'm not sure about that one. and for the messages...you didn't reply if you had youmail. cause i have youmail and when i first got it. i used to wonder why my phone kept on blinking even though i didnt have a message. it was youmail

messages > go to messages icon > highlight date > bbmenu > delete prior

and kailanman I tried that boomerang app thing, not it's laying in the grass with the battery door off... should I go check on it?

btw for the calendar....go to options..advanced options...default services..and change your calendar option from what it is to your email

yeah it's set that way but still nothing shows up

do you have multiple emails or facebook?

yeah but none of them are set. wondering if this is a service book issue because I just tried to email myself from my blackberry email add to my yahoo add and I got nothing

many apps can cause a message indicator incl yahoo messenger,other messengers......there is also one indicator that comes on if you have the mobile network setting on global....unread messagesetc

yeah so got rid of the message indicators, got the email working, not just trying to figure out this stupid calander. Getting now double entries, ie: Sister (who does not have facebook) bday is on Monday the 20, shows for Monday and Tuesday the 21st, but neither appear in Today theme.

Open up that event. You probably have it running until 12 midnight which means the next day. And then check what email you have it under

ok so this is still bugging me, situation is this, I looked under calander settings and there's both my emails and a random purple one that says "device default" which by no means if my device default

So you have multiple emails. This is what I was talking about. Click on each email. Check which one you were making your events under. When you figured that out. Go to options. Advanced options. Default services. And change your calendar email to the one you were making your entries under

yeah see that's the thing, under my email accounts, no events are there, but under this random "Device Default" there's all the events from the other Storm. I really don't want to delete them all and plug them back in, but I mean if I have to.
