Default Just curious, can you spy on a phone?

meaning, for example, like in PC, you can put a keyboard logger program or some kind of 'watch monitor' to monitor the PC activity.

Can you do the same thing on a phone? Not that I am planning to do that, but just curious on how advanced piracy can be as I read recently about virus on phones is coming...

Thanks

This sounds a bit odd. If you have to spy on them, are you sure you want to be with them (assuming its a significant other)

Yes it is possible. With a BES activated device, you BES administrator has a heck of a lot of access to your phone - one reason why companies love them. There are also several 3rd party applications available that are capable of very similar monitoring of private phones - popular with PIs etc.

there is an app on BB app world which is a low jack for your phone. It does the usual of GPS tracking, remote whip, and others but it also lets you "listen in on the thief" as they put it, but all cell phones have the capability of being used as microphones w/o the users knowledge. just curious, what access can they do to the phone? are they able to see what's going on, what I wrote, msg (i.e facebook app, myspace, etc)? I am not talking about browser history, etc, that's a dead given. lol

quincy does the same thing, logs all actions and events, and then logs errors/bugs separately lol
