I just got the Blackberry storm off of ebay, and im looking to activate it. Now i know i can get it activated for free of charge, but would i have to pay to change my plan to a blackberry plan? because the plan i have now is (im pretty sure) not compatible with a blackberry storm.

Well yeah, you will have to pay for the blackberry plan.
Unless you want to unlock and use with another carrier.

well do you know what the activation fee would be? Like the plan i would get is $100 a month, would there be a fee to start that plan up?

You can go onto Verizon Wireless and see what plans they have. You will need the $29.99 Data (Blackberry) plan minimum, added to whatever your Nationwide or other plan is. Usually, there's a $35 activation fee which you can sometimes get waved.

if you have service already, you should beable to just do a phone swap online, just make sure you add the BB data plan as a feature, or it wont work
