Third Storm received last night.

When the keyboard is in portrait mode (for example in number mode) it simply will not highlight 4,5,6 and comma. Also reacts this way in SureType

So, my first inclination was that perhaps that section of the screen was bad.

However, when in other modes such as home screen or landscape keyboard of any other app that section reacts normally.

Any ideas, I hate to have to return it for a 4th Storm.

Did you try pulling the battery? If that doens't work - try either wiping and reinstalling the OS or upgrading to a different version. If it's a hardware issue - you'll have to return it.
