    Like the title asks, is it important to clear the call log? I have not cleared it since I got the phone and was just wondering if it is something I should do? Does it help to free up memory? Speed up the phone?

    options>status>bb>database sizes>phone call log

    that tells you the size of the log and how many calls

    Yes it uses memory so it would be wise to clear it

    No not that log. In landscape mode press the bb key and show keyboard and press. / " / " / " / and press bb key and select clear log then press the bb key again and select options and highlight one item and select hide all the save and exit it makes the device a little snappier. Just a hint

    yeah id def delete them, why keep them if you dont need them.. even though its not huge, you wanna keep the most free memory you can! =]

    I do a alt lg lg to clear log. Does that do the same thing, or is their another way to clear the call log?

    You can also open Messages and click BB button -> View Folder -> Phone Call Logs. Then you can highlight a date and BB -> Delete Prior.

    same as email and sms...and

    from 'messages" folder

    bb>view folders>phone call log

    then delete from there

    The last day in my call log is July 31st...does it automatically clear after so long? Or only keep so many days/weeks worth of calls?
