When I charge my Storm, I want the screen to go black. I don't want a clock or the home screen or anything to flash, glow, etc. I had my old storm doing this and i found it in the "million" page how-to. Coffee and the touch screen makes bad things happen. I got my new (refurb) yesterday and I can't come to grips with going through the 9062 posts again... please?

Clock icon > Once clock comes up press the BB button >Options > Charging >DO NOTHING hate that clock

+1 Snarfler, that's what I've been doing. works like a champ. Somtimes the easiest solutions are the best.

Maybe I am missing something, but, while charging, when my phone clock comes up, I use the escape key to go back to the home screen, then the screen fades black and does not come back on until I push something.
You could also set your phone on a magnet!

I've been doing that too. When I choose the "do nothing" option, the LED still flashes if I receive an emails, texts, etc.

I presume that you are using the silent profile for nights. If this is the case you need to set your LED notification to off for those things.
