    I have a problem when...

I'm trying to change a letter or so in a text field in my browser. I put my finger over it, hold it for a couple seconds so I get the clear box where I can move left and right. However, my finger is over the screen, so I cant actually see the box to see which letter I'm on. Anyone have a solution for this? For example, on teh iphone there is an additional viewing bubble that pops out above.

Also, if I'm in a text field in my browser, and my text is longer than the entire field, how do i scroll to the beginning or end? It seems whatever text is showing is the only text I can select

Once the clear bubble shows up, drag your finger just below it and the
bubble will stay active while you can still move it.

To move the screen, touch and immediately drag.

you don't have to rest your finger over the cursor to get it to change from solid. Put your finger a ways below and to one side and the cursor will change to hollow. You can then slide your finger in any direction to get the cursor to move.
