Simple just enter the large app list and highlight the desired icon press the menu (blackberry button) select move and place at the top of the list

If icon is in another folder, ie. applications, downloads...then you can press BB button, then Move to Folder. If you want on first screen, change to HOME folder.

To Move on current screen, highlight icon, Press BB button, then press where you want moved. Icon already in that position will move right or down.
