There is a lot of talk on the different price points of the storm. I am curious what most people would consider "Too Much" for a full retail price tag. At what price would you loose interest in the new BB Storm.

i wouldn't pay retail. i did that ONCE for a Nokia ( Nokia 3620 (AT&T) Cell Phone reviews - CNET Reviews) 5 years ago with AT&T.

5 months later and the phone was $30.00. learned my lesson then!

I'll probably go upwards of $600. My curve is fairly new, in great shape, so I hope to offset some of the cost by unloading it on eBay.

I've never minded paying full retail for phones. I try not to do it all the time, but if I'm caught outside of an upgrade period I'll do it if I think the phone is worth it.

Yeah, I'm familiar with that but I think you'll get more on eBay (in my opinion). Worst case scenario, I get a quote from the trade up program then set a reserve price on eBay to hedge myself.

i sold my EnV on eBay and got over $120 for it! it was a year old with some scratches. i had a lot of extras too though.

eBay is a good place to sell phones, imo.

I think I paid $500 for my 8800 and sold it for $158 on ebay then purchased my 8330. I am hoping to get about the same from the curve. I keep it doubble wraped with BSE and Silicon and give it a little cleaning once a week.

I would pay $699 for the new storm if it is everything it looks to be but I would be much more pleased if it was $499 or under.

That's the problem with the Telecom industry! Your monthly bills are SOO much higher because the company has to pay for phone subsidies. Seriously, think about it.

Now the problem is if you want a basic phone, you have to pay for expensive service... and not benefit fully from the subsidy. If you don't renew your contract, and buy an unlocked phone you're stuff paying for other people's subsidies.
