Can anyone tell me how many contacts is a realistic number for the Storm? I have approximately 7,000 that I could load on mine but am concerned about performance issues. Almost none of them have pictures and most have only basic contact info.
I could just try it, but I have everything synced between Outlook, Gmail, and my Storm OTA so perfectly now that I would have to alter the sync to get it to work. (BTW, I would like to applaud GSyncIt for being the awesome link with Gmail).
Also, I have noticed that my Storm becomes sluggish when the Gmail contact sync is going on. Does anyone have a clue if it would become more sluggish, or just sluggish for longer if syncing 7,000 contacts.
No idea but wow, 7000 contacts? I feel like a small grain of sand...and I thought my 60 was a lot, lol...I'm sure with that many though there would be som expected sluggish behavior...
Wow thats just nuts. I can imagine what its like trying to finger scroll through all of them lol. Even when you punch a letter in to make it go there quickly. It still would have you scrolling for awhile
Why would anyone (with a brain) sync an entire company BES? Common sense here, if you don't know/work with them on a regular basis, you don't need them. Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.
Id@t$. Oh Oh my Storm runs sooooo slow and I my memory is always way way down, boo hoo.
