When I do a battery pull it takes about 3-4 minutes to reboot, when I simply do a power off and then on it takes a minute or less to restart..

Thanks for all the replies. Now that we know its a common problem let's see what we or they (rim) can do to fix it. My laptop restarts faster after a virus. Lol

it depends on how many extra apps you have on your Storm. Bring the storm down to the bare minimum and it'll take about 2:10 to do a battery pull using .113. I've tested it out.

don't like plugging my website but the battery pull comparisons can be found here. BlackBerry Storm iLT: Storm .113 vs .114 vs .109 vs .103

I am running .113, I know that the more apps u have the slower the phone is but if I didn't want apps I would have stuck with a regular phone. On another note, out of the box this thing took that long. This is my third storm, had screen issues. They all took this long, ohwell I love this phone and I'm sure 5 min out of my day won't kill me. Lol

    3.5 minutes...just pulled the battery.

If I just press the "end" button, it'll turn off and back on in about 30-45 seconds. (ETA: less than that. Maybe 25 seconds. It's negligible.)
