I have some memos and tasks I'd like to keep private and hidden like my kids SS #'s which I often need at dr appointments etc. Should someone snoop through my phone, I prefer this stuff not be visible.

Is there a way to filter it out?

BTW, I have multiple categories set up in tasks
for example:
1. Phone calls
2. To do
3. emails
4. Conferences
5.6.7.8. kids stuff

etc and I want to see ALL of those categories at the same time, just not the private stuff.

If not available in the OEM RIM software can you recommend an excellent 3rd party app that would work.

I would suggest invesing in E-Wallet for Blackberry Storm. You can password protect when the app opens on your phone. If you lost your phone, all that info goes with it if it's not protected
