How to fix a blackberry storm dead charger port

is there any way to fix a charger port on a blackberry storm 1 it shows it chargeing but it doesnt charge

Have you tried both usb cord and power cord? Also worstcase you could buy a separate battery charger and just start charging the battery that way. Getting a spare battery would also help.

if it shows as charging, but isnt, it may be a bad battery. a replacement USB port is only $8. cheaper than a new battery. you can try replacing it first if you think its the issue before you can invest the money on a new battery. if not, borrow someone else battery and see if you can troubleshoot it further.
