I want to wipe my storm and then upgrade. I've looked through the stickies and no go. I'm very PC Literate, so Just a quick explanation would be greatly appreciated. I'm pumped to try out the new OS =) and want to give it a go after a clean wipe.

I have attempted this - gotten JL Commander to load, connected, ran it, typed "blackberry" and all I ever get is that it cannot open the port (don't remember the number) and then exits.

That does NOT wipe the device like you want.

That only restores your device back to factory settings.
