If you are just wanting to have PDFs that are on your PC also on your SD card simply plug in the sync cable and copy them to your documents folder. You can also email them to yourself and save them in the appropriate folder. I think you may be thinking it is harder than it really is.
also keep in mind that the storm doesn't come with any programs to be able to view pdf files, so you'll have to buy one. I got RepliGo, and it works well... even if it was a little costly.
