You can use bluetooth, or if you enable mass storage mode, you can drag and drop everything from your phone to your computer. I'd recommend those two methods over the Desktop Manager method..
when you plug in your phone your phone will ask if you want to use it as a mass storage device, click yes, then go to my computer and you will see your phone under removable hard drives click on it and open the folder for vidoes and pictures and just copy them to a folder on your computer.
Once this is done, you should have either 1 removable device if you don't have a media card, or 2 removable devices if you do have a memory card. The device's memory is BLACKBERRY_1 and the media card (if installed) is BLACKBERRY_2.
