I have the 9530 and cleaned up my contact file on my Mac Computer. I tried to sync using Pocket Mac for the BB, having the Computer data overwrite the contents of my BB contacts but it added data instead of over writing it.

How can I delete the contacts in my Contacts file so I can start fresh with a new sync?

Start DM and go into the Back up/Restore options. Hit the advanced button and then on the right window, clear the contacts database.

Start anew from there with your contacts list.
