Is there any to get a phone number on the screen with out having to go to contacts. When ever I want to call home I have to go to contacts and fiddle around trying to find my number, or enter it. I just want to click an icon and hit dial

Go to your "phone", menu, view speed dial list. Go from there.

If you want to assign a speed dial, just hold down the speed dial you want. It will ask "do you want to assign a speedial". select yes & then the listing you want.

Go to the dial pad, and hold down a number.

Follow post 4 step by step, or following post 5, just hold down the single number you want to assign the phone number to. You can assign the numbers 2-9 on the keypad as a speed dial number.

You can go to your call log, find the number (if you have recently dialed it), highlight the number, click on the blackberry button, scroll down to add speed dial, hit ok. You are done :>)
