Sorry for a stupid question - a newbie.....

I'd like to use the Media Sync feature within Desktop Manager but I get this error message:

"The Blackberry Media Sync installation failed to initialize. Please run the Blackberry Desktop Manager with administrative priviledges and try again."

WTF? Aren't I the administrator??

I also deleted and then re-installed the Desktop Manager (from the CD that came with the phone) to no avail.

Anybody have a suggestion to fix??

Also, anyone suggest a better media manager than the one included from Roxio (or at least offer some tips on how to use the damn thing!?)

Are you on Vista?

If so, right click the Desktop Manager and run the program as Administrator.
