Is it already fully charged? It won't charge if it doesn't need it. Have you tried another charger? Or a USB cable charger?

If you use the correct charge cable or a USB cable it will charge to 100% and then eventually will turn off the BOLT in the battery display at the top left of the screen in Portrait mode.

If it is getting HOT you have issues.

If you pull the cover is it the battery that is hot?

If so it sounds like you have a defective battery or charger. It may be worm but not HOT.

What type of charger are you using. Using the stock charger, it works and plugging it into the laptop and it will charge but using the USB wall plug, it has trouble charging. It will charge but it might take up to 2 minutes to start to charge.
