Hi, I upgraded to version .151 foolishly...

The phone then started doing random restarts, mainly whilst on a call.

This morning it restarted and now will not even boot up.

When you pull the battery the red led come on for a few sec's and thats it.

Is the phone dead forever or is there some trick to downgrade it?

Please help if you can...

Reload the os.
When it will be finish, and it reboot by itself. Wait a minute, do nothing with it.
Do a battery pull for a 2 minutes. After that let it reboot for 1 minute.
Do that 3 times after you upgrade your os.
I always do that and never had any issues , problems or else.

Hi Yogi - here's the current situation.

I have just pulled the battery for 2 mins, I have put back in, the red led cam on for a few sec's and went off.

The phone will not turn on now, the screen has a very low glare on it which can be seen in the dark.

Earlier today it would at least startup, now just the above every time.

I have repeated the process at least 10 times now.

I think its dead?

I have tried wiping and resetting the phone with the JL_CMDER, this appears to have worked, I can then connect the storm to the DM (V5) and then update the OS to .141.

I then restart the phone and I get the led on for a few sec's and the low glare on the screen - same as before.

Is there any way out of this?

CD RESEARCH IN MOTION
CD APPLOADER
LOADER /NOJVM

All completed, same issue after battery pull - led on for a few sec's and then the low glare..

Hi, have tried this may times, I dont get the '507' Error, its says connected OK, but in selection of point 4 it just returns to menu.

Any idea's, I'm really stuck?

I think you're safe...I think maybe three people's phones crashed upgrading to .151...lol! And in all three cases it probably wasn't the OS, but rather something that went wrong during the process that could happen with any OS update.
