Help! Memory Card issue!!!!

Hey guys!

I have a BB Storm 9530 with the new OS that was just released. Everything has been great! No problems... until this evening!!!!

I have to put music on my phone by taking my memory card out and connecting it to my computer using an adapter. When I connected my memory card to my mac, it didnt show up on my desktop. I decided to put it back in my phone. So i put it in and it said media card as been inserted. A message then pops up saying "media card can not be accessed due to fatal errors."

Tried repairing it on the phone and it said repair failed. Tried to reformat, and it said reformat failed.

My ringtones, music and pictures are on there!

WHAT DO I DO!?!?!?!?!

Im freaking out! Have I lost everything?!?!?! Or is it saved on DM if the card is able to be fixed??!!

did you try formatting it while connected to your computer

dont format the card, you'll lose everything, try the repair option. it should fix it, i had that happen once.

i just put my card in (didnt use it for a while so took it out) and Im now having the same problem!!! lol thats pretty crazy. Hopefully someone knows a fix

Will Desktop Manager have anything to fix it? Fiance's Storm is doing the same and I am at a loss of how to fix it. Also says bluetooth link has failed.

if its the card error you are fine but if the error is from either your SD card slot or the device mainboard .. you are toast for good.

There are data recovery tools, but I don't know which one may work for you.

, but the problem is whenever I try putting my memory card into the SD slot and put it in to my laptop, it won't show that its in!! It won't even let me know its in! So I'm really confused, I dont want the memory I don't care for it, I just want my media stuffs back badly

any help or advise for that? Thanks!

you need some data recovery tool to fix your memory card. i used EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard. it finally helped me solve the problem. you can take a try
