My friend just purchased a storm. She was noticing her battery would be dead after a full charge at night (not charging). It was in bedside mode.
She thought it odd that it was fully dead after 7-8 hours with nothing running.
I had her do a battery pull and made sure all programs were off. I even had her turn the radio off. Still dead in the morning.
She was running .75. I installed .113. Phone seemed to run fine all day with no issues. She returned home from work and charged the phone to a full charge. Made one call and went to bed.
She woke up to a very bright light in the room. It turns out her flash (camera/video) was on and she could not turn it off. I guess she usually had the phone face down.
Since she does not live near me, I talked her through closing all programs (and no the camera and video were not running). I made sure she didnt download a program that would use the flash. made sure it was set to off in both video and camera settings. Battery pulled several times.
Abandon all hope, ye who enter crackberry...
There's a chance the OS didn't load correctly. I'd go back to .75 and see if it persists. If it does, its hardware. If not, software.
