Every time I connect my storm to my computer with the cable, I get a message that the "device is not recognized or has malfunctioned", so I'm unable to update my OS or upload photos, etc.
First off, what OS do you have on your PC? If it is Vista or Windows7 you will sometimes run into this issue, I suggest rebooting your computer and doing a battery pull on your Storm, after the computer is up again, plugin you phone, once the phone is plugged in and you hear the little sound that goes with that Turn on DM, if it recognizes your PIN in the bottom of DM then it worked correctly. Sadly, you might have to do this a few times. I know quite a few people have this issue. I hope that they address this in windows because I am almost certain it is a driver bug.
Ok I have tried everything. My desktop manager will not recognizes my BB Storm. Does anybody have any idea how I can get my BB to be recongnize on desktop manager?
