So i bought a storm1 got it unlocked called sprint and asked to activate my phone. They said they don't do that. They dont activate phones from other carriers. Is this true? Is there any way around it? If not any one want to be a storm? HELP

It's true, but I've heard people flashing it to go on to another CDMA network. Haven't researched as I never used/tried to use a CDMA device for another network. I know MetroPCS reps were saying they would do it for CDMA devices, so it's probably possible... the real question is where they would allow it.

Unlocking only unlocks the sim card. Your CDMA is still locked to Verizon.

Never gonna happen. Nothing requires a CDMA carrier such as sprint to allow a particular device on their network.
