I'm having a tough time figuring this one out. No, I'm not new to this. The only way that I can get the phone application to open is to press the green hardware key. Looking at the Blackberry demo application here, BlackBerry 9530 BB-101, it looks like the Call Log icon should be in the applications folder.
I've tried sending service books via BIS and BES, and I can't get the icon to show up on my screen. I reset the icons too, and nothing. However, if I press and hold the Blackberry key, the Call Log/Phone icon is shown as the last open program in the list.
Found it. Go to applications, then hit Blackberry button, and show all. It's hiding in that folder. I moved it up to the first 8 icons so it's available from main open screen. I tried a show all from the Home screen, but not the application folder.
