That was the beauty with my XV6800 on VZ. You could start writing a text and it would break it into as many small messages as necessary. Its sad to see this isnt true on the BB. Even my Voyager allowed up to 6 messages cut up before you needed to start another.
So what if someone writes you a sms and you need to reply to it...you would have to compose a new mms and wouldn't be able to see their original come on now...I like taking shots at the iphone as much as the next bb user but this is an issue with RIM not other carriers mms abilities. Not too mention some people have sms plans and get charged extra for mms
