I have setup Gmail and Yahoo mail through the Blackberry setup, but everytime I get an email message it shows up in the "messages" icon. It shows the messages are there.

How do I get those messages to alert me in the "Gmail Icon" and also the "Yahoo Icon??"

Any help would be great thanks!

Ya that's what I thought and I don't understand why its doing that. I even removed both accounts and set them back and still same result..

Go into your messages, click the BB button under General Options see if the Display New Message Indicator and make sure it's on.

.75 which I thought worked fine with secondary email accounts.

Ok that's what I have, you should definitely have that setting there.

Make sure you're going into messages, then clicking the BB button and pulling the options up. Then go to General Options, and under display it should be there. It's after Display Message Count and before Hide Filed Messages.

even got weirder...it has Display Message Count then goes right to Hid Filed Messages....did I mess something up? lol

I mean I am pretty confident that setting is the issue, maybe call Verizon. That is really strange.

I have Outlook 07 and an AOL account. I have tried multiple battery pulls, resent my service books and can't find anything that works. UGGH
