Hi i live in the Uk and are on the Orange network. Over here the phones are locked to Vodafone.
I have a Storm at the moment which is unlocked but because its a second hand unit i cant use the pin services on it like the bb email etc.
Also bb maps and app centre do not show.
I`ve tried everything mentioned in all the posts on here.
I`ve upgraded and downgraded the firmware even got a Vodafone sim for it and it still doesnt work.
I have a brand new one coming tom which i will get network unlocked.
What i want to know is:
Do i turn the phone on with a Vodafone sim in or not?
Or do i just start it with my Orange sim in.
Do i update the firmware?
What do i need to do to get the email working on Orange.
These service book things whats the crack with them?

Really i just want to know how i go about making sure its right and have all the applications all you guys have on yours like the said above ones.
I love the phone just want it like its supposed to be but i`m not sure i can with me been on a non standard vendor.
