I'll take the 1yr price, I get to ansy with phones after a year of ownership. Its only a $70 price difference to be able to upgrade in a year as opposed to 2 years. Its a no brainer to me.......

Too Lembowski, if you don't get an NE2 anyways, or any discount towards a new phone, you might as well sign the 2 year contract and then when you upgrade to a new phone just use your annual upgrade. Unless your worried about being tied to a contract
good to see that confirmation. it's weird tho that some ppl on hofo and myself included have been told $369 several times. even an hour ago when i called. wonder where they got that info from? but then again, they're always wrong....
I wish my tax was 10% it's 13% in Ontario. wow!! anyway if it's 499 there then that means it will be 600 here in Canada they always got to over do it here. geez
How *Retail friendly will the verizon stores be? I remember walking into AT&T and asking to buy the Bold at retail price without any service plan and the rep told me "The Blackberry bold just released and will be for service subscribers only for the next two weeks" =(
For those of us that are going to buy in full retail without any service plan from VZ, will it be a issue on the 21st ?

Wait is this serious? Is it possible that Verizon won't let me buy it at full retail on the 21st?!?! I'LL BE SO PISSED.
So will it be a problem to walk in " hi , i'd like to buy a storm, full retail... without your service plan" ?
In theory, no...however I can imagine a corporate sales location where reps are based on commission of not only sales but new contract adds, if I were working there I'd be more inclined to keep inventory for upgrading/new contract customers, especially considering the open capability of the device.
