Lets say I create a new icon called missed calls, is there a way to make my missed calls go to that folder?

I created a folder called desktop. I moved all of my home page icons there, except the 6 I use most.

What benefits does that provide you?

Probably to get all the other crap off the main screen and avoid scrolling. I made folders to put stuff in that I barely use as well.

Have you guys never created folders on your computer desktops to store things away? It's the same concept. You can group apps by functionality. I like to just shove all the apps I rarely use into one folder named Junk. The cool thing about the Curve is that every feature has a keyboard shortcut, so I just hide everything but 3rd party apps. But alas the Storm has no physical keyboard.
