so i upgraded from .148 to 5.0 and lost bbm. so i tried to go back to .148 and my phone bricked. nothing will come up on the screen, the red light flashes twice every few seconds. i tried to follow instructions on how to fix the bricked phone, but it isnt working for me. it says to quick click next in the Apploader when it says usb pin unknown. when i do that the phone just pauses, and the apploader (where its supposed to give me the list of apps to load on) says, "the blackberry desktop software does not have blackberry device software for the device you have connected to the computer. contact your wireless service provider or system administrator" i like my storm i dont wanna go swap it out, is there a way to get this fixed? my first brick, thanks in advance!

do a search in the forums for "bricked OS". One of the many threads will give you the instructions on the proper way to restore your OS to any release you want.
