Would it be possible to set up a filter to only receive incoming emails from an account during specific times, such as only before 8am or after 5pm? I didn't get the chance to look too deeply into the filter settings at work today, and was wondering if anyone have run across a way to do this.

No, there's no way to do that with the native software. I've not heard it mentioned before. You might Google it, but I don't think you'll find anything. Push email 24x7 is the original BlackBerry feature.

I take it this if for work...
Go to your sound setting:


Create a new "Custom Profile".



Set all(unfortunately) of your phone, messages, instant messages, reminders, and other.


Just set the certain email to quiet, with no vibrate or LED.
When your at work... or between 8am and 5pm... Just set that profile.
You'll still get the emails... it just wont ring and vibrate every time.
