Hey all! Im pretty new to the site and somewhat new to the storm.

I have a few issues im hoping someone can help me with.

I do apologize if this is in the wrong area of the forums.

First off I bought the phone from someone local to me..I unlocked it and installed all the services books for tmobile properly.

I am running 4.7.0.90

1st thing is:

I cant get the old phone number from the previous owner to change to mine.

not a huge deal but its annoying. Any help fixing this?

2nd: The mic...I cant hold it on any funky angle or people tell me I sound like a muffled robot...Help?? lol

3rd:
Is the media...or media card...I dont know....Everytime I play songs it may be 1 or 2..sometimes 3 or 4...I seem to crash...the phone reboots, then I notice I have lost alot of music....not sure what the deal is...

1) i dunno, do a full wipe maybe

2) could be the noise cancellation built in, i dont think it can be turned off.

3) can be fixed by upgrading to .99. its a known bug on .90

To fix the problem with the wrong phone number:

1) Open the dial pad
2) Dial ##000000
3) Press Send
4) Change the Mobile Directory number to your own number
5) Change the IMSI_S to your number

As for the music problem, update to .99 to solve this problem. If you continue to use .90 you will or have seen maybe lockups and problems with it. By updating to .99 you will have what I would classify as a very stable build almost ready to be released officially.

Thanks guys. .99 Pretty much did the trick and the ##000000 dial worked.
