So I use the same mail on my MacBook Pro as I use on my BlackBerry Storm - Is there a way to make only ONE of these devices show NEW messages?

That is; if I read it on my MacBook, can my Storm say that it's read as well? and VICE-VERSA.

I'm 100% sick of seeing the same 16 new messages on both devices.

take the email off of your berry, and then you will only see new messages on your MacBook. JK - are you using a BES or BIS?

ummmm my gmail is connected to my berry and whenever i open new messages on my berry their marked as read on my email. i havnt tried it the other way around so i dont know about that but it should mark itself as read.....

Gmail IMAP via BIS will only sync one way (read/delete on BB will mark as read/deleted on server, but not the other way around). If you want two-way syncing, you'll have to wait until they upgrade BIS, or use the gmail app.
