I know you asked for an Oversized battery, but seidio does also make a 1600mAh battery that the stock door will cover.
It's said for a 15% Increase. (Many have had different outcomes) Innocell 1600 Extended Life Battery

If you can spare the extra cash you can always purchase Seido's Desktop Cradle that will accommodate the extended life batter/cover. It also includes an insert that you can place in it (and remove at will) if you ever choose to go back to the OEM battery/cover.

    Seidio Desktop Cradle

I have this combination, as do a number of others, and it works quite well together.

Anything Seidio is the way to go. Great company, with superb products. Hopeful their BB Tour stuff will be as good. Sorry to get off topic a bit.

MMnn, I'm not so hip on Seidio. I dropped my cradle from about 6 inches and knocked the USB socket loose. There's no way to open it without cracking the housing. $40 down the drain.

my 2600 back keeps breaking to the point where i dont even call them any more. The batt is cool but it sucks that after this money the batt door keeps breaking.

Get the Innocase made for the extended Battery. I have it and it's great. Keeps that flimsy back cover safe from breaking. I wouldn't use this 2600 MAh battery without that case. I too broke the back cover before...it is cheap and shoddy, and for the money you pay, it should be better. Don't get me wrong...i love the battery..but the cover is quite lacking

Are there any third party battery door covers that would improve this purchase?

Ditto on the crappy cover. You just look at it wrong or drop the phone even a short distance and the two tiny tabs on the top snap off. They seriously need to upgrade that thing to metal. The battery rocks though.

The 2600 is so nice, it would be great if Seidio could get a better door to complete the package.

I'm to the point now that I think I'll just buy a 1600 battery and a secondary charger and swap batteries instead of messing with the 2600 battery door.
