Is there any way to erase/empty the SMS inbox and outbox instead of multi-tapping and deleting little by little?

Couldnt find anything in the search about it..

I tried doing this with no luck also and gave up after a few minutes...quickest way to do it so far is delete by day/date

Yes I know this way, like I said, are you suggesting using the multi-tap to highlight the entire page at the same time? When I use multi-tap highlight, I can only highlight as many on the screen which is roughly 10 or so? And deleting 10 by 10 would take forever. I know theres the "keep messages for # of days" which is fine, but will that take up a lot of memory keeping alllll those messages?

you can hold bottom message, then press top message, then continue to scroll up or down. you can actually delete every message in your box with 1 press of "delete" i do this all the time.

Hover over the current date separation bar, click it, press delete prior. It will delete all messages on that date and before.
