I just started a new job and wanted to add my work email to my phone and realized that my email setup is not under setup anymore.

Is there a way around this to add an email account or how can I get it back?

Nope. Looks like I'll have to connect it back to my computer. I don't like a bunch of the other crap they added, so I should get rid of that anyway.

Try to register your host routing table and see if it comes back.

Well if its in your core apps then it should be on your phone. It might be hidden. Try unhiding all icons.

Is this a clue at all:

If I go Applications -> Core -> BB Menu -> Modules

both net_rim_bis_client and net_rim_bis_lib are both bold, and the versions listed on the right are the old 4.7.0.148 and if I click on either, the description says "Unavailable."

Does this mean that I maybe they didn't get installed? If so, can somebody explain how I can revert back and redownload 5.0.0.328 and see if I can fix it that way?

I have done this multiple times and desktop manager doesn't find any updates available.

Is there a way I can completly wipe the OS off and reinstall 5.0?

I have just come home from Christmas, relos etc and had my 8120 die with the app error 205. It was fixed easier than I thought and didn't seem to have any of the problems others have endured as the tuts mentioned, great.....just can't believe I had no phone for Christmas.

I have since reloaded, and updated, to 4.05.110 and restored the most recent save I had only to find I had no email....much like the problem you were facing.
After trying to do everything you would normally think of I gave up, showered the kids, ate and now I pick up and have total success!??! Everything I tried before did not work, even adding a new email address via the setup wizard.

This time for some unknown reason it worked like I expected it to the first time.
Strange but I don't care, as long as it's working now
