First, I have an outlook exchange box, a popmail box, and the SMS box. I used to get the little envelope up top with a number by it noting how many total messages I had.
Then, on each of the icons, there would be a red star indicating in which box the messages were in (or which ones had messages).
Now, I don't always get the red star (I could have a message in there but no red star indicator).
The weirdest thing is that on one of them I do typically get the star even though the others don't. It shows up in portrait view. If I rotate to landscape...it disappears. Rotate back to portrait it shows up again.
