About 2 weeks ago I had to uninstall the advanced Gmail app for my phone because it kept showing my emails as read on my gmail account whenever I read them and I didn't want that to happen. I called Verizon and they said to uninstall it and that would fix the problem. Needless to say when I did that the issue continued. I called Verizon back a few days ago and they essentially said I MUST have changed a setting because this wouldn't happen on its own. But I could always just go back and click them as unread on my gmail account. Obviously this doesn't help the issue at all, but I'm not really surprised.
Can anyone give me a suggestion how I can fix this? Should I just wait until 5.0 and hope that I can fix it then?
no warranty related issue, it's just not supported. meaning if something happens, you're on your own. but you have patches, which is much better than VZW tech support
