When I set up my BB all I did was enter my email address (POP) and password. I then started to get my emails. On WinMobile, I had to enter port numbers and a schedule for grabbing the emails. On the storm I just seem to be getting them.
I am wondering does the storm somehow push the email instead of pull? If the storm is pulling the email how often?
Thats how blackberry does it, very simple, no in/outgoing POPs or IMAPs to fool around with.
Also, blackberry has agreements with gmail and yahoo mail to push all e-mail directly to your blackberry instead of pulling it.
I have it through a godaddy account so I am not really sure what the deal is. It seems to becoming in in real time, but I dont see any place on the device with that info.
