I believe the people who bought IS had the problem of moisture getting in behind he screen. 5 dollar fix I had a pack of wright screen protectors laying around used one on the touch screen and IS will go on the rest of the phone......

At they Best Buy where I pre-ordered my Storm, the mobile team offered a bundle on the release day that included an IS screen protector as well as installation. They applied it quickly and flawlessly.
