If I delete (or rename) my "Download" folder will it cause any issues?

When I download an app it goes into the download folder, but if I were to delete it were would the app go? Home Folder?

The only thing I use the "Download" folder for is downloading apps. After I download them I move them to a different folder, therefore my "Download" folder is empty 99% of the time.

I deleted mine...Now when I download anything i have it set to go directly to the home page where everything else. I then designate it to stay on the main page or go to setup, applications or any subfolders I have created...Don't worry about it just delete it...

When you say "i have it set to go directly to the home page", what do you mean? How do you "set it", or does the download go there automatically?

Go to Home Page and hit the BB button then choose Options. The first item on the page that comes up should allow you to choose the place to download too.

As an alternative, you could simply hide the folder

I just deleted my download folder today and chose to have all my apps download into my "Applications" folder.. when you choose Home>BB key>Options the first drop down menu will give you a choice to download new apps into any of the current folders you have designated on your home screen..
